Get Off My Road
Roland and Arthur, both member of the Leiden rockband “Nou &”, set up a new group in 1969: “Spirit of St. Louis”. The band is named after the plane with which Charles Lindbergh first crossed the ocean. Arthur de Leeuw switches from bass to drums. Complemented with Martin van Velzen on bass guitar, the band starts making rocksongs. They belong to the first generation of Leiden bands that release their own material.
